Day 6 - 4 ounces of Sirloin? Are you serious?...
Strep throat is slowly leaving and my appetite is fine. We ate a little heavier today but that was because we had some tasty Sirloin for dinner. For you steak lover's you can appreciate my amazement when I read the nutritional info and it said a serving was 4 ounces. It was even worse when I cut and weighed the 4 ounce piece. Funny thing, I was full at the end of dinner. We had a baked potato and veggies with bread and it all fit just right. No complaints.

Day 5 - No wonder my throat was sore...
Turns out it wasn't my diet, just a bad case of strep throat. Good news is I am feeling much better and my appetite is back.
I weighed in this morning at 249.6. The first milestone of getting under 250 is out of the way. Now on to 220 which will put me under the weight for obesity.
Dinner was excellent! My wife made homemade pizza with a low-fat crust that rocked! Here is the link to the recipe:

Day 4 - In bed all day...
OK so maybe it wasn't the change in diet that made me sick. I definitely came down with something and it kept me out of the game for the entire day. I even called off work. Needless to say it was an easy day to lose weight. I was in bed pretty much all day.
I weighed in this morning at 252.8 lbs but I wouldn't put much behind that sudden loss. It wasn't a healthy loss and I would much rather do it the healthy way.
My wife found this awesome calculator that tells you how many calories/protein/carbs/fat you need to consume to lose a certain amount of weight based on your weight. I'll try to get that link from her and post it on here.

Day 3 - I think I'm going to be sick...
My body finally reacted to the change and it didn't feel too nice but my wife took great care of me and I was able to get out of bed and write this before my computer turns into a pumpkin.
The day went fine, I even threw in a snack between breakfast and lunch and it did wonders! I picked up some Fat Free Pretzels and they hit the spot. Btw, the regular pretzels only have 1g of fat.
Now down to business. I weighed in at 255.8 this morning so the downward trend continues. :)

Day 2 - Hi Ho, Hi Ho It's back to work I go...
Since I am pretty sure only my wife reads this blog, I will personally apologize to her for that awful title.
Regardless, I was back to work today and it was tough. I never realized how many temptations awaited me at work. Someone made homemade cookies with a nice powder on them but I resisted and I am happy to report another successful day.

As planned I kicked things off today and did quite well if I don't say so myself.
I weighed in this morning at 256.6 lbs.
I didn't open so well because I skipped breakfast (not good at all) but rebounded well. Here is the breakdown of what I ate today:
